Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my artwork?

All artwork is made to order so please allow 28 days for delivery. If you need your item urgently please contact us as we may be able to fast track your order.

Does it cost more to fast track an order

Fast tracking an order does not always occur an additional cost, each order is different so please contact us for further information.

How will my artwork arrive?

Your artwork is sent via the Royal Mail as 1st Class recorded delivery or by Parcel Force depending on the size. In all cases if you are not in to receive your artwork then the Royal Mail / Parcel Force will leave details of how to collect it or re-arrange delivery.

I'd like to order some artwork how do I go about paying for it?

If the artwork you would like to buy is in the Cheeky Charlie Designs online shop then select your design and follow the instructions on screen. You will be guided through the payment process using paypal for secure online payments. If you would like to commission some artwork (including a mural) please see below for more information.

Can I cancel my order if it's not suitable when it arrives?

Yes you have a cooling off period of 14 days after the date on which you have received the artwork to cancel and return the Goods at your cost and receive a full refund of the purchase price and any delivery cost.

Unfortunately this does not apply to any personalised items or bespoke artwork. If there are any errors with the work (such as a spelling mistake) then I will supply you with a new piece of artwork at no cost to you.

How do I cancel my order?

You need to notify me in writing within 7 days of receiving the artwork. Then you need to return the artwork to Cheeky Charlie Deisgns, 96 Whitworth Rd, Northampton NN1 4HJ. The artwork must arrive back in perfect condition for you to be entitled to a refund.

I'd like to commission some artwork – how do I go about that?

Please contact me to discuss your ideas either by emailing claire@cheekycharliedesigns.co.uk giving me a call on 07702 211476 or even dropping me a letter at Cheeky Charlie Designs, 96 Whitworth Rd, Northampton NN1 4HJ. You are under no obligation to pay until a design and pricing structure has been agreed and confirmed in writing by both parties. This sounds much grander than it actually is - in reality all this means is no payment due until you have agreed on the designs.

I've never commissioned anything before - can you give me some more information?

Certainly. Usually all it takes to start the process off is to contact me to let me know you are interested in a commission. We will have a conversation about what kind of artwork you have in mind, whether you already have any ideas etc. We will also cover whether I need to come and see the room (this is usually for large murals).

Then I go away and produce some draft ideas for you to look at. It then depends on whether any changes need to be made as to how long the process takes but we keep talking and I keep producing drafts until you are happy with the design.

I love your designs can I copy them?

Only if you mean the colouring in pages available on the free stuff pages – you can copy them as many times as you like. The copyright for all the artwork remains the intellectual property of Claire Rumsby trading as Cheeky Charlie Designs.
